Funk's Grove

Located along historic Route 66 just a few miles south of Bloomington, you'll find Funk's Grove.  Settled by Adam Funk in the early 1800's, you'll find this a place of rest that offers opportunity to stroll trails or just sit in the Chapel - there is an indoor as well as an outdoor Chapel - to reflect.
Besides the two Chapels, there is a cemetery dating back to 1830 and if you visit in January, you'll see the Grove's maple production in process with buckets hanging from maple trees collecting the sap as it runs that time of year.
Any season is a good time of year to visit this special spot.
