On October 1, 1862, two weeks after the battle of Antietam, President Lincoln visited the Army of the Potomac, which was encamped near Harper's Ferry in Maryland.  There he was given a tour of the battlefield by General McClellan and his staff. 

McClellan is the 4th figure in front of the President.
