
The Thinker
Almost as famous as Michelangelo's David (fashioned out of marble) is Rodin's The Thinker (fashioned out of bronze). But there is a connection i.e. Rodin wanted a nude, heroic figure in the tradition of Michelangelo . . . and wanted it to represent both intellect and poetry.
We'd all be better off if we did more sitting and thinking.
