The Broadview Mansion "resides" in the Cedar Crest Historic District, which was the first comprehensively planned subdivision in Bloomington-Normal.  The district was built by Bert Kuhn between 1914 and 1930, and it's personality is reminiscent of a rural English village with its curving streets and craftsman style homes.

This bell tower is an iconic image for those residents as well as the rest of us lucky enough to just drive by, yet even more memorable for those who celebrated weddings on these sacred grounds.

For many years, Broadview played host to the Immanuel Bible Foundation, and that names seems to fit this special belfry.
